LG Optimus G Pro

LG Optimus G ProThe LG Optimus G Pro was first announced in February 2013 and has now been released although at the time of writing the networks were waiting for stocks to arrive. It is a "phablet" smartphone - in other words, a phone with a large screen designed to be a compromise between a smartphone and a tablet. This phone will unfortunately not be release in the UK. Readers in the UK looking for a "phablet" will find a great choice in the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

The Screen

The screen is an impressive 5.5" with a full HD display and a pixel density of 400ppi.

The Processor

The LG Optimus G Pro is powered by a quad core 1.7 GHz processor, backed up with 2GB of RAM, which is one of the best specifications around, and it enables the Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 operating system to operate smoothly and efficiently.

The Build

The Camera

The camera is at the higher end of the market with an impressive 13MP. The camera takes HD video in 1080p. The forward facing camera has 2.1MP.
